Before you fill out an application, please make sure that you meet the following criteria:
You filled out a Request Assistance form and have not received services yet.
You paid for IDs with out-of-pocket expenses (not crowd-funded).
If you used personal crowd-funding to pay for your IDs, we do not consider this to be out-of-pocket expenses. Due to limited funding, our program strives to prioritize those who do not have access to or have the ability to crowd-fund. Microgrants, however, will never gate-keep or ban anyone from services. We trust applicants to make the decision that best meets their needs.
WHAT TO DO AFTER YOU'VE APPLIED
Once we receive your application, we will then check our records to make sure that you already have a Request Assistance form on file. If you're information matches our records, we will then notify you of dispersement (usually takes less than two weeks).
PayPal or CashApp will appear same day once processed.
Checks are up to two weeks in the mail.
